MailChimp and Facebook Integration

Whilst, there are several e-mail campaign tools available in the market, MailChimp is still one of the best platforms to start with and there are a lot of possibilities to share your sign-up form and even lot of integrations possible with other platforms. Social media being one of the key traffic generating channels for your business growth, we cannot ignore the opportunity to integrate the MailChimp sign-up on your Facebook page. It is so easy yet not so widely seen used on your Facebook business page. So let us understand step by step processes to integrate MailChimp sign-up form on your Facebook business page. We presume that you have a valid Facebook Page and a sign-up created on your MailChimp account.
Step 1 – Go to MailChimp Account and tap drop down your account settings and then tap “Account” on the drop-down menu.
Step 2 – Tap “Integrations” and verify the credentials by logging in your Facebook Account

After verification using your Facebook login credentials, your Facebook account is shown as connected.
Step 4 – Select your Facebook Business Page and then select the list which you want to use on the Facebook Business Page
After choosing your Facebook Business Page and the MailChimp list which you want to integrate on your Facebook page, please save it. You can test whether the connection is working or not by tapping the “Test Connection” option. It is also possible to have a tab on your Facebook Page by selection “Yes” on the option “Use signup form tab”. The table can also be labeled with a suitable name of your choice for easy identification for the customers who visit your Facebook Business Page. For instance, we can label it as “Apply Now”.
Step 5 – Positioning of the Tab on your Facebook Business Page
The position of the tab being very important as it is related to your lead generation strategy, we may place it in the top position just after the “About” tab. However, it is your choice depending on the content and relevance of other tabs on your Facebook Business Page. The position of the tab can be changed in Facebook Page Settings by editing the page and saving it. The position of the tab can be dragged up and down and place it wherever you prefer to place it.
Step 6 – Preview MailChimp Form on your Facebook Business Page
Go to your Facebook Business Page to check whether the MailChimp Form is integrated on it with a Tab named as “Apply Now” as we named it before. You can tap the “Apply Now”tab and check yourself. Please ensure that you are working on your Desktop as the link is not mobile friendly and available on your mobile device.

Last but not the least, always do a test of your MailChimp to check the form is working and the leads filling in the form using Facebook Tab are getting updated on the database of your MailChimp account.
